Be nice to your recruiter we're trying to help!
Hey isn't about time candidates started being nice to poor old recruitment consultants?
Well me anyway! Everyday I get into the office and work my butt off. All I ask is for is honesty and for people stick to what you said you wanted to do. Surely life doesn't change that much in 24 hours or less? I can understand small changes but where did all those other job interviews I asked about come from. Oh, I see you omitted to tell me about those because you thought it didn't matter, or you thought I wouldn't help you if I actually knew.
Remember a recruiter generally doesn't receive any remuneration until after a successful placement is made and then it's usually quite a while after the start date and not without the usual chase up. So next time you're planning on giving a recruiter the run around, please remember that most of us have bills to pay and family to feed just like you, so be nice and tell us the truth, it pays in the long run.
