Salary to £40,000 + bonus OTE £50,000 - Financial Planning

Paraplanner (Client Services Technical Team)
City of London (Fenchurch Street) 
Monday to Thursday office & Friday work from home 
Salary to £40,000 + monthly bonus Target Earnings £50,000

The Person 

You're an experienced paraplanner with a minimum of two RO exams and at least two solid years working with a financial planning firm specialising in pension, investment, or wealth management.

This means you will know how to: 

  • Write suitability reports 
  • Practical knowledge of financial planning, pensions and investments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), including customer service
  • Experience with CRM systems and strong technology skills
  • Ideally, have experience working with industry-known tools such as Dynamic Planner, SelectAPension, etc
  • Good financial and mathematical literacy

You'll work as part of the Client Services Technical Team. It's a friendly, fun team where you will be encouraged to learn, grow and develop your knowledge, skills and qualifications. 

Based in London City, the Tower of London and Fenchurch tube lines are only a 3-- to 4-minute walk from the office. 

This is a growing independent financial services company with circa 25 staff that offers a combination of clever technologies, market-leading products, and straightforward personal advice. Their services cover financial planning, wealth management, and Listed Bond ISAs. 

To qualify for this position, you will need the following as a minimum:

  • Two years of practical knowledge of financial planning, pensions and investments gained in an established financial planning firm
  • Experienced in writing suitability reports 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 2 RO qualifications
